The Process
1. Pre-Production - This is where we work together to narrow down the vision for the video. From preliminary meetings to developing shot lists and schedules, it is important we take the time to ensure the whole process runs smoothly.
2. Production - This is when the whole team assembles and the cameras start rolling. Some shoots last a few hours and some projects require multiple days of filming. During this phase, we are capturing all of the footage and audio that we planned for during pre-production.
3. Post-Production - This is often the longest phase in which everything is put together. All of the footage is reviewed and edited, each clip is color graded, and audio is mixed. After client review and any subsequent edits, the video is ready for delivery!
How much do videos cost?
The cost of a video can vary widely depending on the project. For example, a 30 minute video of an event likely costs less than a 3 minute promotional video depending on factors such as crew size, equipment, and editing time. Please contact us and we would be happy to provide an estimate for your project.
What does the process look like?
In a nutshell, the steps of our process are: pre-production planning -> filming -> post-production -> review -> delivery. At Machmer Media, we prioritize an open stream of communication with our clients during each stage of this process.
How will I receive my video?
Machmer Media will provide you with an online gallery to view and download your video file(s).
How long before I receive my video?
Standard delivery times are 4 to 6 weeks from the last filming day. Rush editing is available upon request and with an additional fee.
Do you travel?
Yes, Machmer Media will travel outside of Fort Collins for projects. If a project is more than 40 miles from Fort Collins, associated travel fees will be applied.
Can I have the footage or RAWs?
We offer full spectrum video services for our clients which includes the editing and final product. We do not provide the footage or RAW files unless it is a special circumstance, in which additional fees apply.
